The New Miracle Berry Seabuckthorn has been shown to improve the appearance of skin, aid in digestion and even influence weight management.
Seabuckthorn is by far one of my favorite berries, not just because of its nutritional content, but also because of its awesome flavor. Seabuckthorn has an earthy and tangy taste with herbal notes.
One of my favorite ways to use Seabuckthorn is to add it into smoothies, fruit punches and other drinks. It goes well with bananas, oranges, apples, mangoes and ginger. One very nice recipe is to add one banana, a cup of fresh mango, half a cup seabuckthorn berries (or 1/3 cup of cold-pressed seabuckthorn juice), 1-2 tbsp raw honey, topped up with oat milk, blended and served over ice. To make it creamier, try adding a few table spoons of unflavored, natural (Turkish style) yogurt. Enjoy on a hot summer day!
You can also use seabuckthorn berry powder, if you do not have fresh berries or cold-pressed juice available.
