Raw Cacao Truffles

No worries, here’s a recipe for raw cacao truffles that are sinfully delicious but ever so healthy.

  1. 140 g Almonds
  2. 20 g Pecans
  3. 20 g Walnuts
  4. 30 g Chia seeds
  5. 10 g Cacao nibs
  6. 180 g Dates
  7. 30 g Raw cacao butter
  8. 30 g Raw cacao powder
  9. pinch of salt
  1. 1) Run the almonds in a blender until the oils start to surface
  2. 2) Chop the Walnuts and Pecans coarsely
  3. 3) Remove the stones from the dates and mash them into a paste (either by hand or in a blender)
  4. 4) Mix the almonds, the nuts, chia seeds, cacao nibs and dates together
  5. 5) Prepare the chocolate by melting cacao butter in a bain-marie and mixing it with cacao powder
  6. 6) Add a pinch of salt to the chocolate
  7. 7) Combine the chocolate and the almond and dates mixture and mix thoroughly
  8. 8) Place the mixture into a baking tray lined with a baking sheet and press flat
  9. 9) Place in a fridge and let sit for 30-60 min
  10. 10) After the mixture has cooled down, you can cut it into pieces and dust with raw cacao powder
